si-guide.com – Dental Implant Courses in Los Angeles
It is our pleasure to present to you our continuing education courses for the year 2014. In this seminar series we offer lectures as well as hands-on workshops in different topics relating to implant dentistry and beyond. Our faculty lecturers consist of specialists with vast experience in the fields of periodontics, implant dentistry, oral surgery, orthodontics and prosthodontics. They will share clinical “pearls” and invaluable information with the participants in the various courses.
The seminars are geared towards general practitioners and specialists that would like to extend their knowledge in the field of implant surgery and advanced bone grafting and restorative techniques. Complications are part of routine practice, and we put emphasis on ways to prevent them and how to manage challenges once they occur. For clinicians that are just starting to take their first steps in implant dentistry, we offer our basic implant course that will serve as a foundation of knowledge to the more advanced courses. In addition, the advanced soft tissue surgery course will help clinicians achieve better soft tissue esthetics around implant restorations.

Computer-guided implant surgery utilizes 3D imaging and planning software to precisely determine the optimal placement of dental implants. This enhances accuracy, minimizes errors, and improves patient outcomes.
Digital implantology offers enhanced precision, reduced surgery time, less invasive procedures, faster healing, and predictable results, improving both efficiency and patient comfort.
The planning software integrates CBCT scans and intraoral scans to create a 3D model of the patient’s jaw, allowing precise implant positioning, surgical guide design, and treatment simulation before surgery.
Dentists, oral surgeons, and prosthodontists looking to enhance their expertise in guided implant surgery, improve treatment predictability, and integrate digital workflows into their practice.
A CBCT scanner, intraoral scanner or model scanner, implant planning software, and a 3D printer (or an external surgical guide provider) are essential for a fully digital workflow.
While not required for every case, surgical guides are highly recommended for complex cases, full-arch restorations, and cases where high precision is needed to avoid anatomical structures.
Start by investing in digital planning software, attending training courses, and incorporating guided surgery techniques. Many clinics transition gradually by outsourcing surgical guide fabrication before fully adopting in-house digital workflows.
